Hats and Disney on Ice

Went to Ross...tried on some hats! Good times!

Now that Clive is getting older we decided that we should do some more fun things with him that he would like to do! What better than, Disney's Toy Story 3 on Ice? He was mesmerized! Loved every minute of it.

Thanksgiving and Santa!!

Thanksgiving this year was extra special because Kaycee's little brother Clayton and his two kids flew out from California to visit! His wife couldnt get the time off of work to come too =( which was sad! We havent seen him for a while so it was great to see him and his kids again. They are getting so big! And we're glad Clive got to play with Noah (Clayton's son). Also, Granny Leah and Grandpa Harold came down with Kaycee's Mom Kathryn, so they got to see and visit with grand and great grand children!

We went to our Ward Christmas Party on the 3rd. and Clive was so excited to see Santa Claus! He wore his Santa hat and couldnt wait to ask Santa for Mario Cart Legos! Then Santa gave him a candy cane. We dont think Clive quite understood how the whole asking Santa for what you want worked, because he was upset that Santa didnt give him the toy right then and there. So we had to expain to him that you ask Santa now and then He will bring what you want on Christmas Eve night. So we think after tell him that a few times he understood.

Halloween '11

For Halloween this year Clive was Lightning McQueen!!!

it was kind of a last minute put-together costume and a last minute decision to go to the ward trunk-o-treat. It was cold! luckily it didn't last very long, but I think Clive had fun!

CALIFORNIA!!!!

Took a little 6 day trip to California to visit some of Kaycee's family (Dad, 2sisters, and 1brother) that live there, and her other sister and husband that were there visiting too! (they live in North Pole, Alaska) It was such a blast! We had a lot of fun and no one got fried like a lobster...so all in all that makes for a great vacation! hehe....First we went to the Downtown Disney movie theater to see Kung fu Panda 2 which was super funny... then off to Palm Springs for a few days with Jana's family and Oma Katie. This place was pretty cool. Apparently it used to be the swinging place to be back in Frank Sinatra's day. Wicked water slide! Then back to Long Beach to actually go to the beach, we went to Seal beach. The water was super cold and it was windy...so not the best experience for a little boy who's never been there before. We think he liked it though. Then just hanging out with family, bbqing, back to the beach, eating too much, etc... Sunday we drove up to Camarillo where Kaycee's dad and brother Clayton live, for her brother's baby's blessing, had a family dinner afterwards, then hung out at Clayton's for a while. it was good to see them again. Then monday went to the movies again to see Thor...that was wicked awesome! So anyway.. here are some pictures, enjoy!

Clive the Biker

We decided that it was time for Clive to have a bike, so we got him this one! Its a learn 2 ride, wee ride bike with no pedals, but a functional brake. Its supposed to help with balancing better and the transition to a real bike when he is older is easier...no training wheels....because he will already know how to balance himself. This will take a while Im sure but he is only 2 so...we have some time! Also....to get an idea of how huge Clive's head is...the helmet he is wearing is for a 5+ child....and it fits perfectly...haha Clive we love your ginormous head! (you can thank both of your parents for that one)

Easter!

Easter Morning! I believe this was Clive's first official Easter egg hunt and Easter gifts.

And He loved it!...He even helped dye the eggs and decorate them. Uncle Kyle, Aunt Jess and Jess' brothers, Paxton and Tom, joined in on the fun of dying the eggs too.

Clive was so excited, even though he didnt really understand what it was all for. He got a Thomas the train Shake shake bridge track with a motorized Thomas engine, and a lightning mcqueen shake and go car (like his ramone car). From Nana Judy and Papo Mark he got a mcqueen easter basket, chocolate bunnys, kitkats, an elmo t-shirt, and Bubbles! Thanks for the gifts Nana and Papo! Love you!
